    Beomaster 2000 - Radio section

    Hello

I received a Beomaster 2000 simply destroyed cause a bad packing and double delivery due an incorrect address...

The question is this, could be the radio section  realigned to obtain a frequency range between 88 - 108MHz instead of the 88-104Mhz?

    Thanks a lot

    Ciao ciao

    Eugenio

Of course you can change it - it is a voltage controlled tuner, so you can change the voltage on the trimpot under the preset panel until you receive the stations you want - I have done it on my BM3400 also - same tuner.

Thanks, thanks thanks and thanks again

So acting on that trimpot is possible to extend the frequencies from 88 to 108 Mhz or shift the range, f.e. from 92 to 108MHz?

I'll post some photo to let you understand why I'm so boring.. Big Smile

    Thanks Menahem

Just that adjustment will shift it only - if you want 87-108, you need to do a complete realignment.

I don't recommend that, unless you have all the necessary equipment!!!!

I bought a 1979 book that introduce the radio technology.

I think I have to study...
