An error occured during USB driver setup

    Aborting installation

If you were one of the many who upgraded to Windows 7 or Vista (x64) then move right along...

No problems with Windows 7 at all, its B&O who aren't bothering to keep up with current technology and I wouldn't be surprised at all if they abandoned Beoport now.

    no 64 bit :-(

checked with a Win7-64 on my laptop

The software installation is without problems, but the USB device driver will not be installed, so it's useless :-(

Please can somebody give a wake-up call to B&O - 64bit is absolutly necessary in times of usual RAM > 3GB

I'm still wondering why the BeoPort box doesn't use the USB input as a single connection with the PC, since the box can act as a proper sound card with much better performance than the original PC soundcard, and USB can also provide power to the box, so it would mean only one USB connection between BeoPort and the PC, instead of a power+data+sound connection.

As for the 64-bit "issue", be patient, guys, BeoCenter 2 still has a SCART connection and no HDMI..Big Smile

hm, there is one solution possible with Windows 7 64-Bit (> W 7 Professional)! Use Virtual PC and you can it manage.

Only one disadvantage.... mapped drives in virtual session are not available for Beoplayer.

I think the software developer of B&O have to build an valid 64-Bit driver for USB... that is the lonely problem! The rest works..
