My wifes Serene has a broken motor (like most of 'em) and I need to send it for repair. I need to download her phone numbers and have followed the instructions including installing widesync. The phone is paired to the PC but when I PIMsync from the phone it comes up as "failed. Try again?" No matter what I do it doesn't work. I have changed the COM ports to no avail. Has anyone encountered this problem and how do I fix it?

It happens the same with mine, but you have another solution. Pair your Serene with the docking charger and it will keep your phone numbers. When she'll get her Serene repaired, place it in the docking charger and the Serene will get the numbers again.

By the way, have you checked the Serene Options if she changed by error the settings?
