    Beocord 1200 vs 1600

Maybe a stupid question but as i can see the the only difference between the BC 1200 and 1600 is the 1600s built in amp, is it possible to hook the 1600 up  to my BM 1200 or is it only ment to be used alone whit smal speakers  since it has a litle onboard amp.

    Re: Beocord 1200 vs 1600

    Hi Jon,

I just have connected my old Beocord 1600 to a Beomaster 1001 (a BM1200 without AM) that I am currently restoring and I can tell you that it works perfectly.
There is another difference about the sockets, the BC1600 is only in Din whereas the BC1200 is both DIN and RCA and will match better with non-B&O equipments.
