    Beogram CD 5500

    Hello everybody

I have a 5500 CD. It indicates Radial servo problem in service mode.

I wonder if there is any known, typical problem with it? Please let me know if any ideas.

    Thanks

Looking around, the problem can often be the electrolytic capacitors on the servo board. It affects many of the Philips based machines, not just B&O. The solution is to replace the electrolytic capacitors and check the soldering on the board generally.

Mm, yes, I found these cap problem solutions, and have change all of them (there is not too many on this), but it did not help.

Maybe it needs some scoping, unfortunatelly I can't do it now due broken hardware...
