Will BV9 be around after intro of BV7-55?

Has anyone heard if the BV9 will continue to be sold after the BV7-55 is introduced?  Rumors here seem to indicate a price for the BV7 lower than the BV9 and it includes a blueray DVD.  Plus after the intro of the BV10-40 if that model evolves to a 50+ screen the plasma B&O models may be a thing of the past?

I don't think the BV10 is a competitor for the BV9, no system 3 and a very basic connection panel.  The legitimate competitor is the bv7 55.  However, the bv9 may stay around as the flagship because of the design, etc.  I sure hope so since I'm looking at the $22,000 piece as I type.  THe BV10 seems to be more of a link type tv.  I am thinking about picking one up for a link bedroom if I do buy it.

I'd be very dissapointed if they discontinued the BV9. It's iconic. Maybe they should consider putting the price down slightly, seems they appear to be losing their design 'edge'... i really really doubt that it will be discontinued - It's a PLASMA guys! Totally different product

Yes, very different design and different panel. I would't see a reason for them to drop it unless it is doing crappy in sales.

I don't think the BV9 is a good seller... Very few around S/H compared to BV5.

I think Bayerische and JK 1002 are onto something here.  For those of you who really like the BV-9, my advice is that you not wait too long...and if you're looking for a good deal on a US specunit, well I think I know where you might find a couple.

    We kid because we love.

My dealer has a couple of demo BV9's at a great price... One is full HD, HDR, HD DVB with 3 year warranty for just under 14K euro. I would love to get one, but it's too big for my current place. Sad My BV5 is just perfect.

    Hi,

Thats sounds really intersting - could you give me the coordinates of your dealer ?

Have anyone compared picture quality (lets say HD) on BV7-40, BV9 and the new BV10 ? I love the BV9 but think it is somewhat too big to my livingroom (currently have 7-40 MK1), however I do not know if the LED or LCD provides a better or worse picture ?

    Thanks in advance.
