    Connecting APPLE TV help needed.

    Hi All

I just connected my Apple TV to Beovision 7. I am using the PR,Pb, Y connection on the back of the TV, but I only get sound, no image.

I have gone to options -connections -AV4 :Source: PC, Audio 4

Then I have added the PC button into the LIST to watch it.

I plugged the ATV into another TV and it got the image there.

Can anyone advise on how to solve this?

Which version of BeoVision7 do you have? That will determine which sockets are available and what your options are in the set uo menu.

I think that you have to select PR,Pb,Y in the connections menu where you have assigned AV4 as the input.

I do not know which version I have, but I have the PR,PB,Y sockets in the back.

However when I go into the Connections menu I cannot choose it, I can only Choose PC..

Help is greatly appreciated in this matter

I thought PR PB Y was only for video? I always understood it to be an upgrade from an S-Video and that a seperate audio connection was needed?

We have our Apple TV assigned to V. Tape. Maybe try something other than PC?  Make sure it is a video source.

Re: Connecting APPLE TV help needed.

Has to be an AV4 connection on our system. Also start with all systems off.
Connect the YPbPr cables to the BV7
Connect Toslink to Coaxial digital converter then to Audio socket A1 for instance (this is what you maybe missing)
Connect and IR lead to C1 for instance and to the Apple TV

Via the options menu...Assign V.AUX with these settings:
Source V.AUX - Apple TV Australia
    Audio Socket A1
    IR Socket A1
    HDTV YPbPr

    This is ours works...

    Hope this helps
