Does somebody know if there will be some new solutions for BeoSound 5 in the future where BeoSound 5 can be connected directly to a PC without BeoMaster 5, so there would be no need to put mp3 files first to BeoMaster 5 to listen to them on BeoSoun 5. BeoMaster 5 takes a lot of space and nowdays PCs have enough of  HD storage.

Will there be also some solution to streem videos (avi etc files) with BeoSound 5 directly from the computer to the TV?

Why does BeoSound 5 need so much cables to be connected to the BeoMaster 5? What do B&O think where this can be hidden it needs a very fat tube for 3 cables in the wall etc.

Will there be any other solution for streeming videos from PC to TV in the future from B&O or can someone suggest some other B&O compatible products

1) There was a rumor but no time frame given. They would have to built a beoport like piece of hardware that connects the PC to the BS5 head unit.

2) No, approach right now is to recommend other solutions like Tvix

3)  To use 3 cables was done to support custom installations, the product is using standard cables rather then a B&O produced one which obviously could have been thinner.

4) I would look at ATV which can be controlled through B& TVs, Tvix, Popcorn hour and Mac Mini. I don't think B&O will come around with video streaming any time soon.
