    BeoLab 4000's + BeoLab 2 or BeoLab 3

So I am trying to decide if I should add a BeoLab 2 to my 4000's or get rid of the 4000's all together and get the BeoLab 3's. I listen to a wide range of music which includes music with deep bass. I heard the BeoLab 2 at my friends who has them paired with the 8000's. It sounded good but I could only really tell the difference at high volumes.

    What do you guys suggest.

I compared the 4000s to the lab 3s for my kitchen setup. I really liked the sound from both speakers, but I think the 3s handle bass a little better. I'm a huge fan of the acoustic lens, though, and that's what really sold the 3s for me.

I'd choose to add the BL2 to 4000's rather than just having a pair of BL3's, alot more bang for your buck

Both the Beolab 4000 and Beolab 3 are good speakers in my opinion, but sonically I think the Beolab 3 is superior. I own a pair of Beolab 3's and I really like the way they sound, but in some cases they could do with a bit more bass.  I'm not that keen on adding the Beolab 2 however; it's too much boom for my taste...

I love my 4000's! I think that they sound great and are so elegant looking. Sure, the BL3's are fantastic, but they simply don't suit my interior...

Have you considered waiting for the new "tulip" subwoofer? I can't wait to see it! I will almost certainly get one. Where the BL2 visually seems to pair well with the BL3, I have my fingers crossed the tulip will match the elegance of the 4000's!

Yeah I have been thinking about the subwoofer. Just with they would release more details about it.
