    Beovision 6-26 with DVB-HD module

A friend of mine just got the DVB-HD module installed in a Beovision 6-26 and it works just fine.

But 2 things seems to be bothering.

    1) Text tv is not showing anything. When you press the text button it is showing the top bar, but the text tv page is not "loading". There are 4 avalible Danish channels and none of them are showing it.

    2) What about the TV button? is it possible to make it work instead of the DTV button? I have tried to turn of the analog tuner, but that just disables the ability to use the TV button when the set is on. I remember there was a thread about this a little while ago but i can seem to find it.

I wonder if (point 2) has anything to do with a problem I am experiencing on my BV6-26? Basically, I can switch it on and link to the BV7-40 and BS9000 in the lounge. It comes on with Sky, from the link system, but I am not able to change channels? There is simply no response. The engineer is pretty sure its not a link problem as everything else works fine (CD radio etc) - any ideas? Please let me know if you find the thread.

do you mean the thread about the (trial) limited production of Beo4's with V.AUX and DTV buttons and no TV button ?

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

No it was about changing the settings in the TV so it would go to DTV when the TV button was pressed. I don't remember if there was a solution for it

Re: Beovision 6-26 with DVB-HD module

Just got a 8-40 with the DVB-HD module and it's under the TV button, the sky box is under DTV. Via the 8's menu I can switch off the analogue TV, maybe that's doing the trick.

I'm also trying to remember how to get the teletext with DVB-HD. The red button works on the smaller 8, but not on the big one, it just switches to radio.

It's the same thing with the red button here. It just goes to the radio, but the manual says that it should so I guess they have made some changes.

On the DVB HD module the "text" and "interactive red button" don't yet work. A software update is on the way very soon.
