    Zone buttom

Hello and first of all, scuse for my bad english...

I have only one 'zone' buttom in my Beo5 and i would like to add another 'zone', but it seems to be difficult...... It seems not to be possible to add a buttom in this menu.

Can someone explain me if it is possible and how can i do?

    Thank you.

Normally you define the zones you want at the start of the configuration process.

In the configuration Tool click the TAB which says CREATE ZONE as below

Type in the box what you wish to call the additional zone and then press "Add Zone"

You can now add products to each of the zones you have created by going to the next tab along called "Choose Product"

    Hello

As you can see in de Config Tool, there are some tabs in the main window. The second tab is called Create Zones. Go there, type a name for your zone and click Add. A new zone will be created.

My english is too so bad, but I hope you can understand my answer.

    Cheers

    Quim

Going back to select another zone is quite simple as shown below

You can press the right hand SCENE button at any time and in any screen and you will get something like the following screen which will always have a ZONE soft button as below, pressing it will take you back to the first screen.

    Regards Keith....

    Hi

After I changed my configuration I hava "lost" my Zone Button under scene, the problem is both on my Beo 5 and on my computer when using the config. tool. that means that when I select ie livingroom i can not go back and select bedroom without connecting my Beo5 to the computer. is it possible to make new zone buttons?

    Søren,

Assuming your "Zone" button is not hidden and you did not delete it, then I am not sure how you managed that, unless you have found a software bug in the configuration tool.

Whatever the cause of the problem, there is only two ways of correcting the situation:-

    1. Do the whole configuration from scratch again
    2. Manually edit your "Configuration.xml" file with a text or XML editor

The "Zone" commands use the "Navigate to absolute menu" in the navigation tab, however the configuration tool has this grayed out and so you cannot add it with the tool.

    Regards Keith....

......i lost my zone buttom too.....

It is non hidden. Maybe i accidentally deleted it and now i am not able to readd it......

Can you please explain 'step-by-step' how to solve this problem?

I told 'step-by-step' because i don't speak english very well and i am newbie, so, it is a little difficult for me to understand many technical-words.....

    Re: Zone buttom

My recommendation would be to start all over from scratch. Delete the current configuration (or rename it) and make a new configuration. By renaming the old one you always have the possibility to compare the new and the old one.
