    BeoVision 7-40 - Price?

    Mark III, Full HD (1080p), latest software version, DVD Player, DVBT module, as new condition, 18 months old.

    What is this set worth;

    As it is?
    And with BeoLab 7-2?

    Thanks,
    Simon.

    I don't think you can put a price on this Simon nor should we ask members for a price everytime someone on this board wants to value their kit - just get an idea of what other people are trying to sell their BV7-40 MKIII and go in at the top end of these prices. If you can't sell, then consider reducing the price somewhat. Something is only 'worth' what someone else is prepared to pay.

    For example, I'm trying to flog a watch at the moment and I thought it was 'worth' what I've valued it at....but it's not selling. So, if is really worth that amount, after all?

    Remember that the BV10-40 is not coming out for a few months yet, so if you sell your MKIII now, what is your alternative?

    BV9 is a good choice - but get one second hand. Don't spend £16K on a new one. No way. Madness!

    Simon file mou (my friend)...

    I know exactly what you are thinking, because I was thinking the same too. Moxxey is right, brand new is too much... and then again why get it used as well since you would be loosing out by selling a BV7 that you bought brand new from the dealers.

    The money that you are prepared to loose by selling your BV7-40 would be the price of a new BV8-40!!!! Why dont you just by that?! Or even better, just wait and save up for a BV10 if its all that great as rumored and think of it this way, the money you would loose on the BV7, you could add towards the BV10.

    This way you get more TVs, loose less and its all good. The BV7 is still a beautiful TV. Yes it does have its annoying problems, I know. And even better, why don't you tell your dealer this... hey bob, im after a new TV either the BV8 or the BV10, but I dont want to open new fronts without sorting out the other ones, tell them that you want the issues on your BV7 fixed if and when possible and then, once you are happy, you'd proceed in getting a BV8/10 from them... they might even work harder :D

    What do you think? Plus 16K for the BV9? LOL, in my mind it translates to one thing only: BL5 and BL9 :-D Lets not get silly now :)

    P.S. Im not even prompting you get even get a new TV, just think about it tho
