White line - special edition
For a long time now, the Swedish Television (SVT) has been using a picture while there's no program beeing aired.
On the picture there is a TV that must be a B&O. During my last visit to my dealer the picture was on every single TV in shop so we had to talk about it.
We agreed it must be a LX 2802 White line, but the strange thing is that the speaker frets also are white. But the white lines IRL had black ones. We asumed they haved paint shopped it to have it more white.
Amazing a broadcast company in 2009 use the picture of 20 year old (fat) TV in a design photo. Timeless design, or what?

Re: White line - special edition
I enlarged the picture of the TV.
For the first TV ever I see a cable to the B&O (unlike the cable free items in the B&O catalogues).
It isn't the original cables. I also saw at the enlarged picture there is something on the video shelf, but I don't understand what it can be.

Hehe, I have also noticed that! :-)
I'd rather say it's an ls/lx4500/5500 or 5000/6000 since the speaker frets are flat. All whitelines I've seen IRL have had black frets, but I've seen white frets (and even grey ones, IIRC) in the catalogues.

The thing on the shelf is part of the shelf, you're supposed to place your VCR on that metallic thing.

The Swedish word for "talk" is "prat" so the translation used is correct, even if we mostly use the word "talk show" in Sweden too.
On your reaction I had to search on the net to translate (www.tyda.se) between English and Swedish. It was quite funny, don't think Parkinson like the translation.
