I’ve just bought a pair of Penta MK II’s and connected them via powerlink to a BM7000. My joy at finally getting a pair of these speakers was short lived though. They appear to have two faults that I’m hoping someone can assist me with.
- A crackling popping sound comes from the drivers of one of the speakers when turned on. The volume of this noise is pretty much constant ie. Does not get louder if I turn up the volume or stop if I pause the source being played. The other speaker does not make this noise. Have swapped the cables around and tried different powerlink sockets. Still same issue.
- Display on other speaker not working – just blank. Have checked that the switch at the bottom is set to audio.
