creating cd's to play on my Beocenter 9000

How can I burn cd's on my pc and listen to them on my Beocenter 9000?

Is there a default speed? I have a user guide but there isn't any listing for compatible disks.

    Thank you,

    Lisa

    Welcome to Beoworld!

Not all pre 1991 B&O can play Cd'r s but the lower the burning speed the better the chance of the cd player playing it.

Re: creating cd's to play on my Beocenter 9000

Hello Lisa and welcome to Beoworld,

Any CD-R should work with a Beocenter 9000.  If you have burnt a CD-R and it won't play then the issue is in the Beocenter.  The CD mechanism needs new capacitors.  I have two BC9000s and they both needed new capacitors before they would play CD-Rs.  I am fairly sure that CD-RWs will never work in a BC9000.
