    beocentre 7007

I have my eyes on the beocentre 7007 on ebay.

Does any one know  How does the bass response on it compare with that of the beomaster 1001 and 1200, Is it as deep and punchy?

Secondly does anyone know if the 7007 system have any out put connections for a cd player?

The user manual is on site. It has connections for an external device - Tape 2 - and this will accept a CD player. It uses RCA sockets so a Beogram CDX will fit directly if you wish to keep it all B&O.

The amplifier in the 7007 is superb - very powerful and a definite step up from the Beomasters you mention. In some ways this range of music centres can be regarded as small brothers to the Beomaster 8000 system. It is however very likely that the tape deck will need new drive belts - which Martin can supply.

    Hi

There is no dedicated CD input but you can as many suggest use the 2nd tape input.  If you have a B&O CD player then the DIN connections should be ok.

    Hi

Can you link or give me details on replacement belts and things to look for in getting a Beocenter 7007 tape deck working?

    Your assitance would be appreciated
