Im helping a friend with his new beolink house and has some questions about cable types.
The system contains a BC2300 and a pair of BL4000 in the living room. This is going to be linked to a BL Passive in the bath room.
So, the to be able to connect to the BL Passive we use Beolink Convertor 1611.
Here is the big question: The distance between the BC2300 and the BL Passive is 15 meters (50 feet) and I would like to place the BL convertor next to the BL Passive.
Q1: Is It OK to have a 15 m long Datalink cabel?
Q2: Can I use a Masterlink cabel or full Powerlink cable as Datalink cabel if I solder DIN plugs to it?
