A few questions for those in the know:

1) Does Beogram 8002 and Beogram 8000 have the same torque on the drive motor? I have a BG 8000 and the motor feels stronger than the BG 8002 that I am current repairing. I have no experience with a functioning 8002 so am unsure.

2) I've recapped the contol board with new electrolytics. I've stabilized the microprocessor and it is now functioning properly. Even though it is able to regulate speed the slightest rub with my finger on the platter is spinning causes the motor to hum. Is there some way to increase the torque on the platter motor?
