Hi Everyone,

I just completed my first B&O purchase with the arrival of a Beocom 2000 that I bought from ebay. 

My situation is this: underneath the cover, there is only one red dial.  The manual shows two, the top for "tone ringer switch" and the bottom for "tone/pulse switch".  There is only a black cover where my tone ringer switch should be and the red dial on the bottom did not seem to make any changes--all I get is a very loud ring when I call myself. 

update: I have taken off the back cover to examine the board and popped out the black cover but there is nothing there.  So, somehow this phone did not come with a ring selecter.  The other dial does allow me to switch between pulse and tone.

I assume this is the North American model: serial number is 9050032090W43.

Can anyone with this phone shed any light on this?
