    BeoGram 1700 Disassembly Help

    Let's just assume for the moment that I am an idiot, because I can't figure out how to get this thing disassembled. I need to sell it so I can upgrade, but if I'm going to ship it I want to take it apart so it can ship properly and safely. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to get the 'plate' off? I can't believe I can't figure this out.

    Hi and welcome to Beoworld !  Yes - thumbs up

    The platter lifts right up and off. The center tap, hub and spindle remains in the Beogram.
    Two flat wooden icecream sticks or similar will sometimes help as levers.
