If you understand the irony here, I'm really looking forward to seeing SD TV on that BV7-55.
This happens often, but I was away for five days over the weekend and when I arrived back yesterday, SD on my BV7-40 MKIV seemed really blocky. That's because I had been watching SD through a CRT and SD looks terrible on a large LCD, in comparison. Unfortunately most TV is still SD - I mean, TV on a non-HD channel.
The BV9 does a better job as it smooths the picture. However, a BV7-55 is going to be awful for everything but true HD.
As I said in another post, if you're happy to pay your hard-earned EUR 15000 (from what I understand, it's going to be more than this though) on a BV7-55, good for you.
