    BeoTime has Landed!

Well, here we are at the BeoWorld Offices with a shiny new BeoTime in our hands courtesy of Bang & Olufsen for review purposes!

On first impressions - i want one.  Absolutely unique, a complete talking point and will be unmistakably B&O.  Yes, it looks like a flute - and it even comes in a very nice little pouch that reminds me of my Recorder Bag from school as a little 6 year old!

Now - here's the thing!  We need someone to review it...

Open to Gold or Silver Members, we're looking for someone to give a detailed and honest review of the new BeoTime for all to read. It needs to be fun, informative and interesting..  You can review the BeoTime for a few days to get used to using it in daily life, and you will have the pleasure of being amongst the first people in the world to do a working review!

I'm sure B&O Dealers will sell these by the truckload if they are as good to use as they look..  So, anyone up for doing our first Bang & Olufsen BeoTime Review?

If we have multiple people wanting to do this - i'll leave it 24 hours then do a little lottery, so just leave your name.

    Lee

I'd be willing to have a bash at this - just take a gander at my Beolit 800 review that I wrote for this site. If it was rubbish it wouldn't have been lifted word for word by that Beomaniacs site (or whatever it's called!).

I see that I didn't really have to reply, but oh what the heck!

Lee, would you still like me to explain the origin of "Jaff" ...or is this sufficient? Laughing

Looking forward to the review! (I am out of the running)

    Lee,
I would love the opportunity to review the new Beotime for the reasons that im torn between loving the new design and hating it (i realy cant decide).
With my young family moving into a new era and my oldest daughter starting school tomorrow. The misses working every morning as well and the youngest going to nursery daily, will mean we will all be getting up together and having a family breakfast.
What better way than to be woken by the new Beotime and to test it for what it is designed to do.
    Cheers
    Mark.

Lee is this only open to UK members? I would understand if it is....if it is not only for UK members than I will gladly put my name down. I think I would do a sterling job of reviewing the new Beotime Big Smile

This is a nice idea Lee!

Please throw me in the lottery...

Maybe it gets as good as Mr.10%s Beolab 5 review (B&O should put this on their site, really) ....  I'll do my best!

    Re: BeoTime has Landed!

Absolutely not - i'm prepared to give it to any member to review. I don't see why a non-UK member should suffer because of their location.

I'm happy to send UPS Premium Express to anywhere, then have it picked up with the same service if necessary.

I'm going to alot everyone a number, the PrizeDrawBot is going to do a brief (and free!) appearance to do a quick draw tomorrow night to see who gets to do the review!

Thank you so much to all that have volunteered so far!  I'd love to give it to each and every one of you, but time constraints mean only one or two.. It has to go back to Struer!

Love you all to bits, really Big Smile

Love to see it but, as I haven't got any Linky-type stuff to work with it, it should go to someone who has (unless you want it reviewing as a stand alone alarm clock)!Big Smile

Count me in Lee. My house is in full swing in the mornings and our Linkroom/Bedroom is up for the challange. I also feel up to the challenge of testing both 24h time and the new 12h time as well;)

I have visited Atlanta many years ago and found it a wonderful city and very friendly. However I cannot get the Tom Lehrer lyrics out of my head!

'Our captain has a handicap to cope with, sad to tell.
He's from Georgia, and he doesn't speak the language very well.'

I am however confident that the language barrier can be breached and wish you luck in the lottery! Laughing
