    Beovision 7

Can anyone tell me the main differences between BV7 mk1/2/3/4? Beocentral has nothing to date and the Beoworld description has not been modified since 2007. For e.g when did the external lights change from red to white/blue?

    Thanks

    David

    Re: Beovision 7

The lights went from red to white when the MKIII was released. The MKIII version also introduced the BeoSystem 3 chassis. The MKIV was released as the same TV but with the addition of 100Hz screen and a built in Blu-Ray player rather than standard DVD.

I think that the MKI only had a DVI input, the HDMI went with the MKII. Correct me if I'm wrong!

Thank you for that. Did the mk1/2 have the Avant chassis and connections (3XAV scart) in addition to DVI?

    BV7-32 MKI - DVI+Component - HD ready

    BV7-32 MKII - DVI+Component - HD ready

    BV7-32 MKIII - DVI+Component - HD

    BV7-32 MKIV - DVI+Component - HD - With or without DVD

    BV7-32 MKV - 2 x HDMI- HD - built in DVB-HD - With or without DVD

As far as i remember. The MKV is the current model and has a stunning picture quality.

I have had the MKI and MKIV and there is a BIG difference in the picture quality = better LCD panels.

No it doesnt have the Avant chassis. I has a customised BV1/BC1/MX8000 chassis.

Yes it has three scart plugs in addition to the DVI and component.

If someone would like to do an up to date write up for the site, I will put it on. I am no expert on the BV7!
