    line in in Beocenter 7000 T1 801

I just bought a beocenter 7000 and I am very happy with it. I would like to add an external CD player and actually connect it to my computer

I see that on the front there is a socket named "tape in" which I guess was meant to be for an additional taper recorder. Can anybody help in suggesting if I can use that to connect to the computer ? which type of plug does it use?

Thank you very much for your help

    Yes you can!

Tape In/Out are Line-level connections, which is the industry standard for connecting all types of audio signals - TV, VCR, DVD, MP3, Computer, CD, whatever you like.

You just need a Din-cable - Din-5 on the B&O end, and whatever at the other end to suit your appliance.
