    CX100 / CX50 tweeter

    Hi.

    I have recently purchased a set of alu CX100 that I am about to refurbish. I have ordered the refoam kit from good HIFI, and I need to change the tweeters as well as they are blown.

    I have read many threads about bass driver refoam/replacement, but nothing about the tweeters - so therefore this thread

    My local B&O dealer can get originals for around 35€ a piece. Though I am curious, if anyone have other experiences with tweeter replacement at all. Is there any other (cheeper/better) solution than getting the originals and is there anything else I should be aware of?

    The originals are the easiest way to go as the cross over (such that it is!) and the cabinet will be designed around this unit.
