Re: Is this the "real" BV 10?
No it´s not the real thing but Peter Pan´s rendering based on information from this forum. But BeoBrian, who work at B&O, says it gives a very good indication of BV10. He also tells us to look forward because the real thing looks even better and is a milestone.

I hope the real thing will be something more spectacular, since this thing looks too ordinary.

Re: Is this the "real" BV 10?
Here is my quick rendering of what it could be, based on the forum speculations... (I did not have too much time, so it's only a draft rendering...)
Key points : -40" -Slim design -Aluminium border behind the antireflective glass & speaker (like on the bv7, but slimmer...)

Re: Is this the "real" BV 10?
If you want to design a super slim LCD TV, there is very little freedom remaining... So every flatscreen TVlooks like another. Loewe and B&O are two company that tries to keep a correct sound reproduction, that's why there is still a visible speaker on their sets, in contrary to brands such as Samsung.
My design is a bit more 3D in order to keep B&O's DNA, with a more prominent speaker, also in keeping with B&O tradition (Loewe competes with picture quality, but is still way behind concerning sound quality).

>>there is very little freedom remaining<<
The freedom is in the mount and stand options. I think B&O understood that and this is why they keep stressing that for the BV10.
A good example for this is the BV7 as well. Lastly, the BV6 is in my opinion a very nice designed and luxurious perceived TV even without the stand and mount options. This is something that Loewe fails to deliver, I think mostly because of materials used.

Closest, but no cigar.
