Feature or failure? Paging BV9 owners

    Hello everybody!

I recently noticed a strange behaviour of my BV9:

When I turn the TV on, the red status light turns to green as long as the electronic curtain opens.

As soon as the image is full, the status light turns off.

I'm not sure that my TV behaved like this from the beginning.

    So, feature or  failure?

BV9 owners, may you clear my doubts?

    Thanks by advance,

    Yann.

    Feature..

Just checked, and mine does the same as yours.  I don't suppose anyone would want a constant green dot distracting you with all the lights turned off watching a film.

    BV9 - love mine!

...And everyone wants a quick reaction to remote commands, hence the status light turning to greenWink

Re: Feature or failure? Paging BV9 owners

There is a requirement in most markets for an indication of a product being on or in standby. If the BV9 shows a picture there is no need for a green light to prove that the product is powered up, but if you fire up the BS3 from a link room (to watch something connected to the BV9/BS3) the requirement is that the LED goes green to indicate that power is on.

If connected to the mains but not powered up: A red light must be turned on.

If powered up (turned on): This must be evident by looking at the product (an active display, a disc spinning etc), if not a green light must be turned on.

According to everybody, it's a feature.

    Thanks for your answers!

    Yann.

Perserval, Il faut cliquer sur le lien "my files" sur la gauche de la fenêtre qui montre les fichiers.

Autrement, il est possible de cliquer sur l'article sur B&O, puis de choisir "next" ou "previous" au dessus de l'image.
