    Beomaster 3500 output din sockets

Hi! Can someone please help me with the loudspeaker outputs (passive) as there are two sets - one 3 pin din and the other 4 pin din...

on the Beomaster 3500.  Can I use an ordinary two pin loudspeaker plug inserted into the 3/4 pin socket without damaging anything?

Of course I could also use the powerlink sockets but I want to use that 3500 amp with two passive speakers.

    Thanks from Harvey

Re: Beomaster 3500 output din sockets

    Hi Harvey

Yes you can, no problem. The first set has the mute relay, the second set has no mute relay that is the mute relay doesn't work on that set. You should try the speakers on both sets to see if the relay is still clean and working properly. Obviously if it is dirty then there will be a difference in sound quality!
