    BMaster screen resolution

    Hi,

I just installed my new BM5 but I have some problems with the screen resolution.
It is connected to a BV9 (external) and connected via VGA.
If you startup the system it comes with a 800*600 screen resolution, so i tried to change it to a higher resolution.
But what is the exact resolution to use, it is not mentioned in the manual  ?
I can test it in the service mode and  the only resolution giving me an image is 1280*720,
but the image is shifted to the right with 2 or 3 centimeters !
So, if you select "test" the yellow rectangle is not visible on the right ...
My dealer does not know why, he says you can shift the image back to the left, but it will do that for all hdmi inputs ..., so no solution.
Also, why can i not connect it via hdmi ... (dvi to hdmi) ? (dealer says it is not supported)

Another remark : after it was installed, i started to copy all my mp3's+ photos (200GB),
wanted to play, of course with the wheels .... but it crashed more than 3 times  and was very very slow ...
+ error message on the TV : out of memory ....
Why did they took windows XP as an OS ?? Should have been a stripped down Linux ...
I hope it will work as it should, I was already very dissapointed about the beomedia1 (crashed mostly after 30 minutes, when playing music + viewing photo's..., playing music alone was ok, viewing photo's alone was also ok. They cpu load was always 100 % doing both together ..)

    Re: BMaster screen resolution

No excuse for crashing, but the BS5 will respond jerkily while it is "digesting" newly added music.  I think the song analysis for MOTS places a heavy load on the system.  It may take a day or two to analyze all the songs if you loaded many 100s of songs.  Once this is complete, the wheel returns to normal smooth sailing.  Hopefully, you will not be loading 100s of songs frequently.

I don't know what the correct screen resolution is...
