    Beo5 & BeoMedia1

    Hello,

We have a new Beo5 that we thought would "shortcut" some functions of our home setup...

The most disappointing aspect is the inability to control our BeoMedia1 with Beo5. We simply wanted to push just one button on Beo5 to call the N.Music function of BeoMedia1 (without calling BeoMedia first and then selecting N.Music with the arrow keys). But previous Beo5 setups called "real" N.Music that we don't have (I guess the type supported by BS3200 and BS9000). Is it possible to called in a single function sub elements of BeoMedia1 ?

The latest setup from our dealer, includes BeoMaster5 details (in lieu of Beomedia1) on our Beo5. That includes menus nicely showing all the functions we want to control, like slideshow and zoom for Photo and Next and Previous for Web. But all these menus/functions just put Beomedia1 back to the home source menu.

Is there any B&O policy on providing the Beo5 config/programming tool to me (so I can update until I'm happy) ?

    Many thanks,

    Davidw

    Re: Beo5 & BeoMedia1

    Hi

Take a look at this thread

I have a BV7 and a Beomedia1, and in my Beo5 screen there is N.Music and N.Radio as sources, the same as DTV or DVD. They are direct buttons, I don't need to select PC first.

But, when I press N.Music, I have a blind navigation, because my TV doesn't turn on.

    Regards

    Quim
