Has anyone here ever compare sound quality of these two? I have a DACMagic. It sounds great. I'm happy with the sound quality but I'm having a bit of hassle controlling the sound using software on my Macbook. So I'm start to think about changing it to Apogee Duet since it has a nice little volume control but it is a bit more expensive. I have 10 more days opportunity to return my DACMagic to the shop.

Does the Apogee have auto-sensing of the source and auto-on?

I love the DACMagic but its a pain to have to switch it on each time I use it (am afraid to leave it on 24/7) + When I connect some other digital sound sources I'll have to switch the input source manually using the button on the front!

Not a major problem I know but it just doesn't seem to gel with the B&O one beo4/5 press and your done!
