b&o pieces like the beo4 does

Anything running BL1000 and up, so yes. Have you programmed any timers on your BS4500? This would be a nice setup!

I have heard of a timer function but I am very unfamiliar with it. What does the BS4500's timer funtion entail?

Unfortunately, I seem to recall you have a pre 2.1SW 4500, alas no timer... my apologies for a bit of a red herring! ...on the other hand, the BeoTime will still power your device up at the alarm time, so beyond recordings, it shouldn't really matter anyway! Big Smile

Yes I have the Serene back lately to wake me up and I have to say the Chime ringle wakes you up, far too well in fact because I cannot ever wait to turn it off!

The design seems interesting to me, but 300 and something £s seems very recession-delusional to me for an alarm clock. It's already returning value to my Serene which has an alarm clock in it as well!

However I have to agree with The Major ... please can we have an ML module for BeoSound 1 instead ... thanks a lot!
