Red pixel noise on BV4 65

    Hi,

I received my BV4 65" but it has red noise. The only way I can get rid of it is a Blu Ray with 1080p/24p. TV, DTV and BluRays with 1080i have this red pixels. Since the display can show everything correctly I assume there's nothing wrong with it. Could it be the cable or BeoSystem 3?

I was so excited to watch "Home" but this red noise is killing me!

Re: Red dot noise on BV4 65

I have the same issue on my new BV7-40.

Some (not all) red colors are pixeled, I've googled the issue and someone was saying its because of the cable...

Strange thing is, I use exact the same cable as with my old Samsung panel and there was no "red noise".

Could be a cable shieding issue but before I rewire all that stuff again (horror) maybe you have an idea.

    Hi,

I connected the BV4 with my MacBook Pro and tried several resolutions. No red pixels at all!

So could it be the BeoSystem 3? Can I change any settings?

I have experienced this recently with a lower quality HDMI cable.  Especially over longer runs 5m+.  Using a high quality QED cable appears to get rid of the red dots.  And no I don't work for QED!

Changed the cable, problem is also solved! I bought an HDMI cable from AudioQuest and despite my doubt this most expensive AudioQuest cable makes a better picture...

We had the exact same problem at customers setup not to lang ago.

A new cable between the BS3 and the BV4 solved it...
