    replacement of LC1 fuse

I believe that I've blown a fuse on one of my LC1 dimmers. Is it very difficult to replace the fuse? Any helpful guidance?

Sadly, the LC1 units are quite rare and rather expensive in the U.S.

Fuse is easy to replace. Two screws on base, fuse contained in plastic cover. The fuses are of the "slow blow" type. I only know the UK rating (you are 110v so the rating will be different) and I guess they will be available from Radio Shack or similar.

    Re: replacement of LC1 fuse

When you get inside Jeff, the clear plastic you see, is actually just a flexible cover to the fuse.
I found that you could grip this easily with some thin nosed pliers. Bit awkward to get your fingers in there!
My local hardware store found me a couple of these fuses in the bottom of a large box. He had to read each one with a magnifying glass, and it took him half an hour. He then charged me the grand sum of £0.17p!

Replacing the fuse was indeed very easy! The fuses were available at Radio Shack for less than $1. To think that I nearly chucked the LC1 in the trash, thinking it was destroyed! Thank you all for your kind advice.

    Re: replacement of LC1 fuse

I'm having trouble finding the fuse in my LC1.  I removed the bottom piece - is this where it is?  I don't see any clear plastic, but I do see 2 screws under the plastic cover.  Do I remove them?
