My BeoSound 9000 has developed a strange error. When the last track on a CD is playing, the BeoSound 9000 cuts it off before the end of the track and switches to the next CD. Has anyone had the same problem? Is it just a matter of laser adjustment or should the laser unit be replaced? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
It could be dust on the laserlenz.
Try to clean the laserlenz.

Yes!!!!! my 9000 mk2 had EXACTLY the same behaviour some years ago; specially with long duration cds (near of full-80min music inside).
not good news: the whole cd mechanism unit was replaced.

Unfortunately I can confirm this - it happened to my MK2 3 years ago :-(

Similar problem, same solution on a MK2 from me as well.
beoaus.
Thank you for the info. I'll call the dealer!
Why don't you clean your laserlenz?
Give it a try. it's free!!
If that don't work call your dealer.
good luck
I have an MK3, same issue.
Replacing the mechanism is expensive I believe so I probably skip .... I did dust off the laser, does one use alcohol?
