    BEOMEDIA 1 password

Does anyone know how to reset the Beomedia 1 password?  I am connecting a "pre-owned" Beomedia 1 and the password provided is not working.  This may be because I inadvertently "restored" the hard drive to its original configuration.  Is there a general password that works?

    Thanks!

    Matt

Firstly turn the BeoMedia 1 off from the mains. Plug in a PS keyboard. Turn on the mains again. Press PC or V.Aux to turn on the system. The main menu appears on screen, now press the red button and an overlay menu appears. Press 9 for configuration, this takes you to a service menu, press 0 0 GO and scroll down to Maintenance, press GO, now go down to user name and type it in using the keyboard and press return to save. Now exit by pressing Exit untill you get back to the PC menu.

Instal BeoPlayer and when prompted key in your new password.

    Hope this helps

    Stu
