    Penta rebuild

    Hi All,

I've seen numerous threads pertaining to the Penta and cap jobs.  My pair of old series I's are in need, I think.  One went out completely with the orange light and the smell of burning electrolyte.  The other pops intermittantly but last I checked still functioned.  I'm looking for a cap kit for the amps.  Are they available?  I'm in Chicago.  Thanks for any and all help.

    Re: Penta rebuild

Member Dillen (Martin) has just completed assembling a cap kit for Penta's I believe and will be along shortly to offer his advice.

I've used several cap kits from him in the past and they are very good indeed - welcome to BeoworldSmile

    Chris.
