    BC 1 turning off ?

Im not quite sure of what to think of this.

Today my BC1 suddenly turnned itself off, quite a loud sound as if something  blew and the tube went off. It felt like something was going wrong. When I pressed TV it turned itself on again and performed without any difficulty.

Is my BC1 giving first signs of a some sort of failure ? Or could it be outside interference.

It is newly bought in 2004, If these are signs of breaking down, I think its a bit too early to do so.

Has anyone simular experiences ? Does anyone have a clue what it can be ?

Cause possibly a momentary power outage (or surge)?

My 2005 BC1 (recently acquired) has had no issues (yet) other than a radio activation problem. It's wall mounted, and although I've been very careful to route all the cables with plenty of slack within a sock (within the wall bracket) I do wonder whether there is a long term risk of getting a short or break somewhere after all the flexing caused by the motorised base movement.
