While browsing the bang and olufsen website I stumbled on the BeoVision 6, it seems to be the

updated BeoCenter 6. A beautiful TV and far too late updated in my opinion!

The specs:

1366 x 768 pixels panel (HD ready)

Optional: Dolby surround module and DVB-HD

Agree, never understood the radio bit. As a result i have the BC6 with the radio module removed and DTV one added (which gives you digital radio stations ... )

It is a BC6 with the radio removed! Optional extras include a Digital Surround Sound module (which is a factory fit option) and the afore mentioned DVB-HD module (this can be fitted later but is cheaper to get supplied with the set). It shares the same chassis as the BV7-32 and BV8-40.

Does the chassis you mention have any of the beosystem 3 components - as with the new BV7-40?

I'm thinking of upgrading my BC6-26 to a BV7-32 and hence the question

Beovision 10 will share the same chassis as BV6, BV7 32 & BV 8 40.  Price should be around £5500 - £6000.

I adore the beovision 6. Very nice design. Read a few weeks ago another price on the Dutch section (was around 2800,-).

Bring this to the US please. I doubt they will though ......

Try at the dealer and compare. The BV8-40 has 100Hz and a no glass! (Glass mostly reflects the items in your room.)

Interesting. I've been missinformed that the new 7-32 was going to have a more basic version beosystem 3 that was in the new 7-40.

Do you have a view on whether, with the more basic chassis, the picture quality on the latest 7-32 when using mainly SD content is materially worse than that on the latest 7-40? Would love to see them side by side but with chiswick B&O now closed and the others stores i've been in to not having both models in at the same time it's difficult to compare ...

Any views greatly appreciated.
