I've just bought a nice 24 inch widescreen computer monitor for home, and saw this for an idea

has anybody else used some Beolab 2500's in a similar setup ??

you need the height of the monitor to be the same as the 2500's I guess, around 36cm  :-)

I'm a Mac, so if I was to get an external screen I would get a Cinema display.

That IS really cool. I love how they work so well together. Its funny but I am currently considering buying a pair of BL4000s for my iMac 24 to match. Problem is I want to be able to have the option to use them as part of a surround sound setup in the future for my TV so I am hesitating because I should probably go the ALT route.

Very nice! I have BL3 on either side of my Mermaid screen.

I've got a pair of 2500's on either side of my 24" monitor but they aren't as tall as the monitor unfortunately.  Great computer speakers though when run through Beoport as a stand alone system.
