BeoTalk 1200 bonkers after power off

I think my BeoTalk 1200 has given up the game after I unplugged it overnight. I cant cope without its voice announcement feature, will the new B&O phone have a similar feature or is it time to find another make of answer machine?

I would like an answer machine with similar features to the BeoTalk 1200:-

    A.) A larger rejection list

    B.) Voice announcement

    C.) Silent answer

    Any recommendations?

Answer machines seem to be a bit of an oddity these days as everyone seems to use Voicemail. I doubt B&O will bring out a new one - and if they do, it has to be better than a 1200! I have one of these and as long as one just uses it in basic form, it is OK, The complication of the other functions just drive me crazy though! Anything with an instruction manual that big is clearly a problem!
