    A-V.Aux on Beo5?

    Hi all,

I've searched extensively and I just can't seem to find this function in the Configurator Tool V3

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    just an idea:

what about creating a temporary zone where you add a product that definetly has the function you're searching for.
Then you just copy this button in the temp button box and insert it in the zone you want!

Good idea TWG but which zone can I create that will have an A-V.AUX source set up so I can copy the button?

    Cheers

    Re: A-V.Aux on Beo5?

I think you should create a zone called "temp" or "unused" that is NOT connected with any other zone/room and source. It's just "for practice".

Which B&O device has the A-V.Aux function included? As you demand this function I thought you know which product requires the A-V.Aux!? ;-)

If you know the product, simply add it from the source list to the "temp"-zone. then you search for the button A-V.Aux, copy it to the temp button box and insert it in the zone you need it to be.

    Re: A-V.Aux on Beo5?

Thats the problem TWG, When I go to create a new button and scroll through the list there is simply no A-V.AUX available.

The reason I'm looking for this is because I have my airport express connected to the V.AUX source and obviously would prefer the screen to be off when I'm in this. P Mute is not supported by my Avant so thats not an option.

    Re: A-V.Aux on Beo5?

    I think there's  a small misunderstanding:
You don't have to create a new button from the beginning. You have to search for a product out of the source list that features the function you're searching for (e.g. Beovision Y).
You place this product in the temp-zone!
It is important that you know which product features your desired function.

Then you go into edit mode in the configuration tool, switch to the temp-zone, click until you have found the button named "A-V.Aux". Now, you copy this button to the temporary button box.

Now switch to the zone in which you want to use the "A-V.Aux"-button. Drag it out of the temporary button box to the desired position inside your zone and you're done.

Will this work with an Avant? This command looks like its for an audio system.

No. It`s for a video device in AV mode.
