    BV8-40 Service Menu Settings

    Ok, so before I start messing with the Service menu settings, I thought maybe I should get to know what they mean?

    - Dynamic Compression (default=Off)

    - New AVI CVBS HW (default=Enable)

    - Black Bar Detection (default=Enable)

    - Film Mode (default=Enable) although I have switched this Off for a much better picture!

    Can anyone shine some light as to what the above do??
