    BeoVox 1, 2 questions

    Hi all!

Just bought a pair of BeoVox 1 speakers for my bath room.

    - Shouldn't they come with speaker cables? The BeoLink Passive came with two speaker plugs, but no speaker cables.

    - What is this plastic part?

    Re: BeoVox 1, 2 questions

    Hello Daniel,

I´ve bought a pair of beovox 1 speakers about one year ago and there were no cables with the speakers.

The plastic part, I think, is to remove the front cover from the speakers without any damage to the cover.

I wish You a lot of fun with these wonderful speakers; I like it every time to here music in the sauna from this speakers.

    Best regards

    Re: BeoVox 1, 2 questions

    Thank you beorebels!

Do you have them IN the sauna?

Right now I´m planning speakers everywhere, must calm down. Wondered where I shall place my BL8000 if (when) I get BL5's. Thought about the spa, but that can't be good for them. Take a deep breath Daniel, must save money for new TV. But what about speakers in the veranda ...

I'm so happy that I normally as a Beoaddict don't have to worry about what cables to buy. I googled for prices for speaker cables yesterday and found this site. My jaw dropped deeper and deeper as I scrolled downed the page. I found the prices (and the information) silly, only to find a more silly price, followed by another sillier price etc. Divide with 10 to get prices in €.

    Re: BeoVox 1, 2 questions

    Hi Daniel,

yes, the beovox 1 are directly placed in the sauna; about 80 cm over the floor and without closing the wooden walls on the backside of the speakers.

There are no problems with the temperature and also the humitidy; the sauna is used most of the time as so called Finish Sauna and for sometimes also as so called steam sauna.

The speakers now work perfect for more the one year.

    Best regards
