jk1002:
I forgot to thank you for the original post ...
I followed the link up and treated myself to a stay there and had a wonderful time exploring the area, visiting the local B&O dealership (closed now I think).
I also enjoyed "messing" around with the BV6 and Beocom 2 -- a bit of a "busman's" holiday for a B&O fanatic ! I had seen many a BV6 in hotels before, but they were very much a "closed" system - this time, with permission of course, I was able to do some rewiring and programming of their set-up.
Came away impressed by the BV6's flexibility and capabilities - convinced that B&O could sell more if they made the ML a multi-lane AV freeway, rather than it being a narrow one way street.
I was also impressed by the attention to detail (e.g. the BeoCom's colour was chosen to compliment the apartment's colour scheme) and the overall luxury finish to the "pod" - yes, it was small (some might say tiny) but it suited me.
Not so sure the BC2 won me over ... I still like my BC 6000 :-)
First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*
