Good morning!

I am trying to use my Serenata phone as an email client. Normally I use a Nokia E71 via Exchange Server ActiveSync to have Push Mail. The Serenate is unable to push mail, but there is the possibility to receive email via IMAP4 (which is working correct) and send email via SMTP.

My current set up is:
Exchange Server 2007 SP1 RU8. The necessary ports are set up and other email clients are able to connect.

Problem:
The phone tries to connect (port 25 or port 587), gets a connection and times out. I tried different other SMTP servers and found out, that e.g. GMX works, but 1 & 1 (German provider) does not - like my local Exchange server.

As i am used to regular firmware updates for my E71 I'd like to know if there are any software updates for my Serenata (and where to get it updated) ... or ... anyone else got the Serenata working to send emails via SMTP trough an Exchange Server...
