Beovision7-40 VGA connection, but where can the sound be connected?

    Hi

I am trying to connect my Mac Mini to my Beovision7-40.

I have connected it to the VGA connection on the Beovision7-40, but do anyone know who I connect the sound on the Beovision7-40?

    Best regards

That is a good question, and I did not find it.

But also if I try 1920x1280, the screen remains dark. What resolution did you adjust?

I only think below resolutions are supportet.

    VGA, 60 Hz, 64 0 × 48 0, 848 × 48 0, 1024 × 576,

    800 × 600, 1024 × 768 , 1366 × 768 og

    1280 × 720.

But it is very strange, regarding the sound I do not belive that they have made a solution for computer vga connection but without sound supported.

    Best regards

I solved the problem by buying the Apple TV. I know this doesn't answer your question as such because you still want to connect the MAC mini but I can tell you that the ATV is a great piece of kit and will do everything you want. If not, hacks are available for it.

    Hi Rhone,

    Thanks, that worked.

The only thing is that I used AV5 for my satelite recieve which only have the yellow, white and red cabel. But I will use a scart converter for that instead.

    Best regards
