hi guys. I am wondering which B & O CD players are compatible with the Beogram3300 system. My dad has a Beogram CD3300 that has finally bit the dust and would like to replace it. I have looked everywhere but have been struggling to find another. Another option may be to repair it - he suspects dry joints. Is it worth a repair? If so any recommendations as to who could repair it? (Hertfordshire/London area) Or should we get another compatible player?
Your help would be MOST appreciated. Thanks
ok, can anybody please tell me how many PINS are on the Beogram cd7000 's DIN connector??? I have seen one and think it might be compatible with the Beomaster 3300 amp/tuner
7 - the outer two are used for communication between components (datalink).
Generally speaking, you aren't learning much if your lips are moving.
so theres 7 on the 3300 aux/tuner. this should work right?

Yup!
Every Beo CD player should be fine. They all have a 7 pin DIN plug and can be controled via your BM3300 with BL1000 or Beo4.
CD3300,3500, 4500, 5500, 6500, 7000.
Hope this helps.

What are the symptoms of the CD3300? I'd get this repaired - Try Tim jarman at www.beocentral.com - he lives in your area and can be contacted via the Beocentral site. The 3300 system is of a certain design and the other players will not match as well from a style point of view. The CD3500 would be the closest.
Thanks guys for the info. Just got a Beo CD7000 off ebay and am going to get the 3300 CD repaired with Tim at some point. thanks again
