    BM5 built into BV9

I have a BM5/BS5 connected to my BV9. I was supposed to get it built into the cabinet of my BV9 but my dealer says the kit for this is not available yet and they dont know when it will be  ready. I have had my BS5 for a few months now and it is irritating that all the cables and the BM5 box is placed right by my tv. What have other BV9 owners done? Any idea why it is should take so long? (The BM1 kit has been used by some dealers I have heard).

    Thanks for any info.

    Christian

    Re: BM5 built into BV9

The "Kit" required for a build in of the BM5 into the BV9 is due to be released from B&O at the end of June 2009 according to information I just received from BeoCare in Denmark.

The actual installation and instructions for the mounting are already mentioned in the Installation Guide for BS5/BM5.

    Kind regards / Mvh Rolf

    Re: BM5 built into BV9

I believe the BM5 mounting kit for the BV9 set is only useful / required if you want all the cables (i.e. 3 cords from the BS5 head unit and the ML from the BS3 etc.) to be connected at the back of the BV9 using the optional side socket panel.  I have installed my BM5 inside my BV9 without this kit in February 09.  The only issue is if you want to uninstall the BS5 or move your BV9 set you have wires coming out of it which can't be dismantled without opening the entire BV9 unit.  Hope this helps.
