    Headphone Pads replacement

I have a pair of Form 2 (I think - the smaller rectangular ones) headphone and the small foam ear pads have completely fallen apart - B&O must use cheap foam since I hear foam rot to be a common problem with speakers.  Any ideas of where or how they can be replaced?  I live in the US and when I asked my dealer, I dont recall the exact amount, because I must have had a seizure and blocked from my memory when they told me how much replacements would cost.  (I am sure I could probably even make my own!)

Although temped to buy a new pair of something better......

I seem to remember the replacement Form2 pads being not that expensive - about £12-15 ?

If your dealer in the US quoted a silly amount, i'd be happy to order and post some to you at cost (they shouldn't cost much to post - a butterfly with it's underwear on weighs more...)

As always, I appreciate your help.... but now I remember  12-15 pounds/dollars (whatever the conversion rate is these days) for a pair of foam covers for headphones?  Is B&O out of the freakin' mind - oh wait they are and that is why they are doing crappy lately.......

What exactly can you get for 12-15 pounds these days? Around these parts, it would get you about 3-4 kg of ground beef. And that would definitely look silly around your ears.

    Michael,

What have you been doing to them!

My Form 2s are at least 10 years old, get used regularly and the foam is still immaculate.  I do wash the pads fairly frequently and dry them fully which might help.

If you like the sound of the Form 2s, and I assume you do, then 15$ seems not unreasonable to continue to enjoy them.  Not sure you could buy better phones for that!
